Welcome to our mini beaded bonsai make along workshop for grown-ups!
You don't need to be green fingered to join in! Learn how to make your very own beaded mini-bonsai tree using beads or semi-precious stone chips to take home. Experiment with different colours and types of beads/semi-precious stone chips, and layering of "branches" to make your own unique decoration or "tree of life". Beginners very welcome - you'll be shown how to add beads of your choice to wire to create "leaves", and how to twist them together in to branches and a trunk, before securing them to a base of your choice to enable them to be displayed. You'll be making a mini bonsai tree approximately 7cm to 10cm high, plus base. Chatting, and sipping on tea and coffees is encouraged! Questions before you book? Location: Abingdon-on-Thames, at The Gathering Space Cafe (on Bath Street, next to the Clockwork Dragon shop).
Duration: Approximately one and a half hours.
Please respect our hosts, The Gathering Space Cafe, by not bringing/eating any food/drink in the craft room that has not been purchased from the cafe. You are more than welcome to purchase food and drinks from the cafe and bring them in to the craft room. If you have a family member who isnt attending the workshop, they are welcome to relax in the main cafe area.

Workshop Cancellation Policy:
More than 14 days notice: If you are unable to attend the workshop and can give us 14 or more days notice from the date of the workshop, a full refund will be given.
Between 14 days to 24 hours notice: If you give us less than 14 days notice, up to 24 hours before the workshop you have booked, you will not be given a refund but you will be able to transfer your booking to another workshop (subject to availability of spaces). If the workshop is more expensive, you will need to pay the difference in price. If the workshop is cheaper we will not issue a refund for the difference.
Less than 24 hours notice: If you give us less than 24 hours notice, do not attend the workshop without giving notice, or attending a workshop on the day but late, then unfortunately we are not able to provide either a refund for the workshop fees or a transfer to a different workshop date. For late attendance, we will not be able to allow you to make up the time beyond the end of the scheduled session, and you may miss important workshop information which we may not be able to repeat, depending on how late you are.
If we cancel the workshop: Minimum number of people booked on to a workshop for it to run is 4. If, for any reason we need to cancel a workshop (for example insufficient bookings, staff sickness or events beyond our control), please accept our sincere apologies. You will either be given a full refund, or the ability to transfer your booking to another workshop of the same value (subject to availability of spaces). For transferred bookings, the notice periods for cancellation above still apply.
