This week we shall be taking a short walk, with wildlife stops in the beautiful parish of St Martin. The route takes in a picturesque wetland area and country footpaths, a perfect combination for a great selection of Spring wildlife! The hedgerows are full of wildflowers, both edible and highly toxic. We shall take time to study these and the insects which are attracted to them. This is a superb area to watch the farmland birds with their young families and it is highly likely that we shall see Buzzard, Kestrel and Marsh Harrier - there is plenty for everyone to enjoy!
