Join us for Crafternoon Tea – a relaxed, friendly fundraiser in the beautiful Botanic Gardens at Samarès Manor.
We’re inviting PSJ members, friends, family and supporters to join us for an afternoon of creativity, conversation and cake – all while helping raise funds for our small local charity.
Your £30 ticket includes:
A glass of chilled bubbles on arrival
Entry to the beautiful Botanic Gardens at Samarès Manor (you’re welcome to arrive early and enjoy the grounds)
A generous buffet-style afternoon tea prepared by the much-loved Rozel Tea Room with fresh finger sandwiches, soft vanilla cupcakes, and buttery scones served with cream and jam, plus teas, coffee or soft drinks
Easy to enjoy craft kits – a chance to make something simple while you unwind and chat (or just eat more cake – the craft is optional!)
The bar will be open too, if you fancy something a little different to drink
We’ll take a moment during the afternoon to share a bit about PSJ and the difference your support makes.
There’ll also be a lovely selection of handmade items from our talented Craft & Chat group available to buy.
We’re expecting tickets to sell quickly, so if you and your friends or family are thinking of coming, please do book soon to avoid missing out.
We’d love you to book through Eventbrite if you can – it helps us keep things organised. If that’s tricky for any reason, just email us at
[email protected]
and we’ll be happy to sort it for you.
About Pain Support Jersey
Persistent pain in Jersey is more common than you might think and it can affect anyone: friends, family, colleagues.
1 in 2 adults in Jersey live with persistent pain
1 in 5 experience moderate to severe pain
1 in 3 young adults are affected
2 in 3 adults aged 75+ live with pain that doesn’t go away
We understand how challenging that can be. It often lasts for months or years with no clear cause and can be invisible to others. Everyday tasks like getting dressed or making plans can become difficult and exhausting.
We know pain affects how you move, how you feel and how you connect with others. Everything we offer is designed to support this – to help you live well with pain.
We offer practical support, friendship and encouragement. More than a charity, we’re like a big family – a welcoming space to share experiences and lift each other up.
“It’s like being part of a family that truly understands.”
We run weekly activities including supervised exercise, seated exercise, craft & chat, sea swimming with the Chilly Dippers, accessible yoga, cookery, horticulture, mindfulness, singing, pétanque and more – all with the aim of supporting islanders physically, emotionally and socially while living with pain.
Since 2009, we’ve grown from just six members to proudly supporting over 260 islanders. And we’re still growing! Visit
