Join Us for a Landmark Celebration – 75 Years of the States of Jersey Fire & Rescue Service! You're invited to Fire HQ, Rouge Bouillon on Saturday 31 May 2025 for an unforgettable Open Day as we mark 75 years of service protecting our community. Come and meet your local firefighters, explore the station, and experience action-packed live demos including: Rope rescues Road traffic collision (RTC) extractions Specialist equipment in action Inshore rescue boat & dam display Aerial ladder platform up close Explore a pop-up museum showcasing the rich history of firefighting in Jersey – from the St Helier Fire Brigade beginnings in 1902, to major incidents over the decades. Firefighters will be on hand sharing top safety tips to keep your family and home safe. Help us raise money for the Benevolent Fund and The Firefighter’s Charity. Meet our colleagues from SOJP who work side by side with us during incidents. Open from 10am – 3pm with demonstrations at: 10:30: Ladder rescue and firefighting 11:30: Rope rescue 12:30: RTC extraction 13:30: Rope rescue 14:30: Ladder rescue and firefighting Parking is limited – please walk, cycle, or take public transport where possible.
