Are you interested in what happens at a major incident, or when voluntary organisations attend a public event? Alongside the States of Jersey Ambulance Service and our voluntary agency colleagues, we’re inviting Islanders to our Open Day between 12pm-4pm on Bank Holiday Monday (26 May 2025) at the Weighbridge. Frontline Ambulance and Patient Transport Services will be joined by St John Ambulance, Normandy Rescue, the Ambulance Support Unit, the Aquatic Rescue Team, Jersey Honorary Police and the Community First Responders. Working together, these partner agencies are invaluable to our Island's emergency responses and in providing first aid support to our community – attending events and assisting with the nighttime economy, at peak times. Each organisation will be showcasing what it does, how we work together and demonstrating some of our lifesaving equipment. You can also learn about volunteering opportunities and how you could use life-saving skills at public events and when supporting at a major incident.
