Explore Plémont
Discover the history of the granite rocks and many intrusions and fault lines which cut through the bay. Experience the tectonic history of the Island and also a route followed by many Victorian and Edwardian tourists who came to the bay to be impressed by the wildness of the nature to be found there. The beach is always changing and sometimes there are deep pools to get into the caves so sandals (no flip flops), neoprene shoes or trainers that can get wet are essential. This two hour geowalk will also include a walk over the headland now saved for the Island by the National Trust for Jersey.
This geowalk starts next to the bus stop in the top carpark at Plémont.
