Preview: Monday 2 June 5.30pm – 7pm The Dementia Darnings is a deeply moving series by artist Jenni Dutton, created in response to her mother’s dementia diagnosis. Using delicate hand-stitched portraiture on bobinette netting, Jenni translated old family photographs into meditative, emotionally resonant works that trace her evolving role from carer to observer. Each piece, taking up to four months to complete, reflects love, memory, and quiet loss. The series has exhibited widely across the UK, Europe and China. Jenni Dutton will be in attendance during the exhibition and will give an artist’s talk, offering personal insight into the work and its development.
