Jersey Trees for Life is hosting an open volunteering session at its Howard Davis Farm nursery in Trinity on Monday 9 June at 10.00am.
Green Monday
is the first in a series of six volunteering sessions at different locations to celebrate
Great Big Green Week 2025

, or just fancy getting out into the fresh air for a bit of gentle exercise on a spring morning, we'd love you to join us.

We'll meet at 10:00am at Howard Davis Farm, which is on the left as you get close to the top of Trinity Hill heading north.

It's still 2010 in Jersey in Google Maps but if you can find Trinity Hill you can't go wrong as it's clearly signposted.
Parking is available for approximately ten cars.
If you have any problems finding us on the day, please call Alex on 07797 774676.
Activities will include the likes of potting, watering, weeding, processing new arrivals, organising the nursery and caring for specimens in our tree hospital.
For those joining us, please bear in mind the following:
- You must complete a
volunteer working agreement
before attending (link also in confirmation email)
- You may get wet so check the forecast and wear waterproof clothing and boots
- You might get cold so wear layers and don’t forget your hat and gloves
- Check the weather and wear sunscreen if appropriate (seasonal)
- Bring snacks and drinks
- We provide equipment
- Ask our team lots of questions and have fun!
