Eight round towers once filled St Ouen’s Bay, stark symbols of the grave need to defend this part of our Island from enemy invasion. All but three have now disappeared, lost to time, the tides and tolls of later development. In this talk, historian Ian Ronayne will explore the background, building and fate of the lost towers, along with the past and present of those still standing.
Free Entry. Tea and coffee will be served from 12.45pm.
