Speakers:
Maryam Longrus
Maryam is a director of Product Management and Head of New Initiatives in Capital Markets at FIS. She has over 15 years of experience in operations of financial services industry. She partners with GPs, LPs and fund administrators globally to drive transformation and organisational change management. She graduated from University of California, Davis and spent most of his life in San Francisco Bay Area. While her formal education is in Managerial Economics, she has a strong passion for technology and innovation in financial services industry.
Phil Godley
Phil is a co-Founder of the Jersey AI Forum and the Chief Technology Officer and co-Founder of Palmer Fund Services. Before launching Palmer, Phil worked as an advisor within the Private Capital industry. He has advised asset managers, data providers and service providers on commercial growth, data, and AI matters. As a machine learning practitioner, he participates in competitive AI and seeks to advance the technology in areas such as natural language understanding. Prior to this, he was the Chief Operating Officer and board member of Sanne Group plc a FTSE 250 main market LSE listed company.
Daniel Coheur
Daniel Coheur is the co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Tokeny. In this role he levers the experience of his corporate background, which centred around the global growth of transactional based enterprises in capital markets (Clearstream Banking owned by Deutsche Boerse), and telecommunication (Syniverse owned by The Carlyle Group). He has mentored and funded several start-ups before creating his own investment boutique. Today, Daniel works with investment banks, funds, assets managers and distributors to educate these actors on the digital era of finance and accelerate their adoption of distributed ledger technology.
John Gamble
John Gamble is a director and head of Data & AI practice at C5 Alliance, specialising in data and AI-driven performance transformation. With 20+ years in Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics, he helps organisations harness data for better decision-making. An experienced BI Systems Architect and Strategist, John analyses business needs, assesses platforms, and delivers AI-powered solutions that enhance analytics, automate insights, and improve performance. An expert in the Microsoft BI stack, including Azure AI and Microsoft Fabric, he has deep experience in the offshore finance sector. He applies AI and data analytics to support regulatory compliance, risk management, and business transformation.
Sarah Townsend
Sarah Townsend is a senior counsel in Walkers' Jersey Investment Funds & Corporate Practice Group, with more than 15 years' experience as an offshore lawyer, and advising on a range of funds, corporate and related regulatory matters. Her funds practice covers the establishment of investment funds under Jersey law Sarah also advises on the establishment and licensing requirements applicable to fund managers, investment advisors and other service providers under Jersey's legal and regulatory regime. Sarah has a growing fintech and digital assets practice. She was delighted to have been involved in the establishment of Jersey's first tokenisation platform in February 2024, as well establishing a number of Jersey crypto funds.
This event will commence at 8:00 am with registration and coffee being served and the first session to commence at 8:30 am. The event will finish around 10:15 am.
