How do we begin to talk about Israel and Palestine in relation to questions of liberation or occupation, and how do we begin to understand the layers of history and the contemporary realities of a conflict that continues to pull so much focus in the world’s media? The Tel Aviv-based playwright and director provided her own answer by writing stage and video works that give witness to Palestinian narratives. As part of an artist residency in Jersey, Einat will present a talk about her work and a current project that more widely explores lived experiences and contexts of incarceration globally.
This event, together with Structures & Memory (a place called Wurzach) and its accompanying programme of events forms part of Jersey’s official Liberation 80 anniversary programme.
