Grantez is home to the locally rare field cricket (
Gryllus campestris
) which manages to persist here. Join the National Trust for Jersey’s Lands Team at Grantez for a practical task to help conserve this interesting species. This will involve removing older pieces of gorse to make more grassland areas for the crickets to thrive.
Cake and refreshments will be provided to catch up over a cuppa afterwards.
