The clocks Spring forward and we are entering ‘British Summer Time’ … longer days, shorter nights and warmer weather! During this short evening stroll we shall be looking at all aspects of wildlife, leaning how to identify them, remember their names and appreciate their beauty. This walk takes us around the lower end of the picturesque Val de la Mare Reservoir, through the Japanese arboretum and up on to the plateau which overlooks the whole of St Ouen’s Bay – a fabulous point to view a sunset! This area is renowned for Marsh Harrier, Buzzard and Raven which are always exciting to watch but we will also take time to listen to the songbirds singing as the light fades. With wildflowers to discover and trees to admire, this walk has something for everyone to enjoy.
