As work on the New Healthcare Facilities Programme (NHFP) progresses, further opportunities, including the Development Works at Overdale, will soon be available for tender, with contracts covering both physical and design works. These will be procured under the New Engineering Contract (NEC) suite of documents, so understanding NEC principles is essential for suppliers and contractors looking to participate in upcoming Programme opportunities.
This form of contract has been selected by Government of Jersey since it has helpful mechanisms to promote good project and contract management. It will also be the form of contract for the Main Works Delivery Partner.
To support contractors and advisors with this process, this session therefore provides a more informal introduction to NEC forms of contract, especially from a contractor/provider perspective, the basic structure, terminology, and other guidance.
There is a maximum of 50 places available at this session (please note, an additional session providing the same content is available on Tuesday 25 March at 7:30am).
The Eventbrite bookings will close on Monday 24 March at 12:00pm.
