The 'Vernal Equinox' is the astronomical beginning of the spring season in the Northern Hemisphere. It is a celebration of new life, new beginnings, and a return to balance. We shall start by watching the sunrise over St Catherine's Bay ... enjoying the fresh sea air and coastal views. During this short, circular walk we shall stop to appreciate the bounty of wildlife which call this area home. Buzzard, Raven, Kestrel and even Sparrowhawk can often be seen roosting on the rocky ledges. Listening out for Chiffchaff, Great Tit, Robin, Dunnock and other small birds we shall spend time learning their different songs. At our feet, we shall discover the beauty of our native wildflowers, which are so often referred to as weeds! Come and join our friendly group and discover the local wildlife.
