We are pleased to announce our annual "Legal & Tax" Masterclass. This year's event will focus on several key topics, including a legal update from Sean Spence, Partner at Proskauer in London, who will present the perspective from London and cover key themes and trends in fund structuring including fund terms and innovations.
Chris Griffin and MacAdie, Partner and Counsel respectively at Carey Olsen Jersey, will cover the Jersey Legal Update. Additional topics include updates to the Jersey Private Fund (JPF) guide and developments in tokenisation and digital assets.
The taxation modules will cover UK carried interest following the November 2024 budget, UK Qualifying Asset Holding Companies (QAHCs), EU withholding reclaims, and an overview of international developments with new administrations in the UK and US. These topics will be covered by Lorna Farell, Associate Director at Deloitte UK, and Paul Eastwood, Tax Partner at KPMG Jersey, who will also provide a Jersey Tax Update.
This event will commence at 8.00am with registration and refreshments being served and the first session to commence at 8.30am. The event will finish around 11.00am and CPD Certificates will be provided.
