This flagship community orchestra, under the expert guidance of a visiting conductor, Caroline Hobb-Smith, offers an amazing and varied evening of music. JASTO is in an innovative project offering advanced instrumental students of all ages the opportunity to play alongside post-graduate and professional mentors, organised by the Jersey Academy of Music team. This year's concert includes Borodin's Polotsvian Dances and Danse Macabre by Saint-Saens (with violin soloist Young-Pyo Lee), alongside more familiar arrangements from stage and film.
