Join a lunchtime event with the legendary soprano, Kate Royal, who takes you on a musical journey from opera to musical theatre. From the delicate poetry of Clara Schumann to the evocative songs of Kurt Weill and the beauty of Dvořák’s Song to the Moon, this event promises a rich and moving experience, accompanied by pianist Anna Tilbrook. Legendary singer Kate Royal will present a captivating programme of lieder, opera, and musical theatre classics, accompanied by pianist Anna Tilbrook. This beautifully curated programme blends the lyrical elegance of Clara Schumann’s lieder, the depth of Kurt Weill’s songs, and the brilliance of Dvořák’s Song to the Moon. Alongside these timeless pieces, Kate Royal will bring to life selections from The Sound of Music and beloved operatic arias, creating a recital that is both intimate and inspiring.
