THE THROAT CHAKRA ** Embodiment ** Ecstatic Dance ** Meditation ** Sacred Circle ** Sound Healing ** Cacao Ceremony (Part of the Awakening Chakra Series run by Maria Barnicoat and accompanied with sound healing by Alexander Lee-Briard) The throat chakra (Vishuddha in Sanskrit) is associated with communication, self-expression, and truth. It governs our ability to speak honestly, listen deeply, and express our authentic selves with confidence and clarity. It also connects to creativity, self-trust, and the power of words to shape reality. When balanced, it allows for calm, open, honest, and compassionate communication, while an imbalance can lead to difficulties in speaking up, fear of judgment, or miscommunication. Embarking on a throat chakra journey is about reclaiming your authentic voice, expressing your truth with confidence, and deepening your ability to listen and communicate with clarity and integrity. The Throat Chakra Opening Process This journey requires deep inner work, a willingness to be true to yourself, and the courage to face and release any old wounds and fears. On our journey through our resources, we will include:- Emotional Healing: Acknowledge and process past hurts with compassion, allowing old wounds to be released. Authenticity Practices: honing in deeply to what truth and expression means to you. Throat-Opening Meditation/Breathwork: authentic expression meditation, and deep mindful breathing helping to release stagnancy. Connection & Vulnerability in Sacred Circle: increases your capacity for deep, meaningful relationships where you can express your authentic self.
