An enchanting evening of chamber music at the Town Church with artists from the Lincoln Centre New York. International pianist Wu Qian and friends will perform Dvořák’s great Piano Quintet, Rachmaninov’s passionate Elegiac Piano Trio, and Beethoven’s elegant String Trio in G major. The stellar ensemble include Alexander Sitkovetsky (violin), Harriet Mackenzie (violin), Arnaud Sussmann (violin/viola), and Nicholas Canellakis (cello). These international soloists have toured worldwide as well as performing at Verbier, the Lincoln Centre, New York, Buckingham Palace, BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall, on BBC Television and live on BBC Radio 3. PROGRAMME Rachmaninov - “Elegiac” Piano Trio Beethoven String Trio in G major Dvorak Piano Quintet The charity Music in Action is at the forefront of outreach projects in Jersey. In 2023, 5505 children and care home residents have taken part in the Music in Action outreach programme.
