· Kriyas ( sets of yogic exercises to bring about specific outcomes)
· Asanas (Postures)
· Mudras (hand gestures)
· Bandhas (body locks)
· Mantras (repeating sacred sound vibrations)
· Pranayama (breath control), and
· Meditation.
Kundalini Yoga helps to:
· Regulate the body through the breath
· Clear out stagnancy & energy blockages
· Increase oxygenated blood supply to the organs and extremities
· Encourage clarity, flexibility and endurance
· Create a calm mind
YIN YOGA
Yin Yoga is a very passive and grounding style of yoga with the postures generally practiced from either sitting or lying down.
It is very gentle, soothing and meditative and is a perfect way to ground and integrate the energy that would have been raised through the Kundalini Yoga.
This workshop is suitable for everyone, including beginners.
