Experience the plant medicines of the Amazon.
Welcome to this introduction to Amazonian plant medicine with Kundalini Yoga. My name is Adrian Kent, I am a Kundalini Yoga Instructor and Kambo practitioner
Returning to the Peruvian Amazon for half a year in 2023 was a deeply transformative experience for me.
Whilst there I undertook a 21 day residential kambo (frog medicine) practitioner training course, before entering into in a 14 day ayahuasca and master plant dieta. After that I stayed on at
the healing centre as a volunteer for the remaining five months.
My role as volunteer was varied. It included looking after the day to day needs of the guests, helping prepare different plant medicines for them and personally assisting the resident maestro (shaman) during ayahuasca ceremonies.
This introduction to Amazonian plant medicines will include a palo santo or mapacho (Amazonian tobacco) smudge (cleanse), Sananga eye drops and Rapeh (Amazonian snuff)
The palo santo or mapacho smudge is used to cleanse our energy field as well as our environment.
The sananga eye drops is a liquid made from the tabernaemontana undulate plant and is administered as eye drops. On a physical level it is known to be beneficial for most eye conditions. On a subtle level it gives mental clarity and a cleansing of negative energy. (Panema)
Rapeh is a mapacho based snuff that is blown up the nose and is very grounding. It is ideal to receive before meditation.
The schedule will be:
· A short introduction of my experience working with
Amazonian plant medicines
· Palo santo or mapacho smudge
· Gentle Kundalini Yoga exercises to open the body and mind, (in preparation to receive the medicines)
· Receiving Sananga eye drops
· Receiving Rapeh snuff
· A closing Meditation
This event is suitable for:
· Anyone wanting to experience and connect with Amazonian plant medicines.
