Jersey Island Geopark Talk Tuesday 25th March, 7.30pm Members’ Room, RJA&HS An introduction to the aspiring Jersey Island Geopark, a grassroots collaborative project with partners, that is underway to get the Bailiwick of Jersey recognised as a UNESCO Global Geopark. “A Geopark is about more than rocks… A Global Geopark tells the whole story of an area, right from the very beginning.” The Geopark Team will cover their progress towards designation, next steps and what being appointed with the internationally acclaimed and non-statutory 'UNESCO Global Geopark' designation would mean for the Bailiwick of Jersey.
