Goecke and Edeso - Accessible Matinee

Haute Vallée School, La Grande Route du Mont a L'Abbe, St. Helier

Details

The first programme of 2025 brings an exciting work to Jersey audiences: Renowned German choreographer Marco Goecke’s "Whiteout". The work premiered at Les Ballets de Monte Carlo in 2008, and has since been performed by companies all around the world. This hauntingly bittersweet piece is the perfect introduction to the work of one of the giants of the dance industry and an incomparable artist. The second half of this double bill will see the return of Asier Edeso Eguia; creator of BDJ fan favourite Deliberate Mistake. Edeso Eguia’s all new work, "Ruido Blanco" will be the first for our company is his new role as resident choreographer. This production is generously supported by Jersey Opera House. Accessible Matinee Performance: A Welcome Space for All We are delighted to offer this matinee performance as a relaxed and accessible experience, welcoming audience members of all ages and abilities. Though the programme will be the same as the other performances, this special performance is intended for those who may benefit from a more informal atmosphere, including families with young children, individuals with different needs, or anyone who prefers a less structured environment. We encourage everyone who chooses to attend this show to embrace the spirit of patience and tolerance as we celebrate making live dance available to all, and we hope you enjoy this inclusive and welcoming experience with us. If there is anything holding you or someone you know back from attending our performances, please reach out to us on [email protected].
