Each year, on the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz concentration camp, this Jersey ceremony provides an opportunity for remembrance and reflection. Learning from the atrocities of the Holocaust and subsequent genocides, this day allows us to continue to challenge hatred and persecution in the 21st century, ensuring a safer, better, future for us all. Members of Jersey Arts Centre’s youtheatre have once again been invited to read at this year’s ceremony.
