The event is open from 7pm to enable everyone to complete their 'before the service' items, for a 7:30pm start.Our Lights of Love candlelit remembrance service, led by civil celebrant Kenan Osborne, is a non-religious service held in late November before the hectic festive period begins and offers bereaved families the opportunity to come together, remember our babies and children and honour their existence. Everybody is welcome, especially anyone affected by the loss of a child, at any age, gestation and no matter how long ago.Before the service you are invited to:-Star tags: write a personal message and hang on our Christmas treeRoll of Remembrance: write down your baby or child's name to be read out during the serviceBe one of five volunteers to light a special candle during our 'Five Candles for You' poem, read just before everyone is invited to the front to light a candle.A short service of hymns, carols and non-religious readings. The Progressive School of Music choir will join us for the service, and sing during the candle lighting.If you cannot attend but would like any of the above to be done in memory of your baby or child, please do let us know on [email protected] .During the service, a small gift is given out to hang on your Christmas tree and we hope you will stay for refreshments afterwards.
