Join us for the second in our series of Jane Austen events at 16 New Street.
Dr Setara Pracha reintroduces us to the glorious, but less celebrated characters from her novels, and we ask ourselves – is their behaviour familiar? Come and find out as we explore the significance of Isabella Thorpe’s friendship, Miss Bates’ chatter, and Mr Bennet’s parenting. Warning: these characters tend to escape the confines of the text so there may be laughter!
