Geraint Jennings will give some insights into the work-in-progress of making these much-loved comic books available in the Island’s own language, adding to the many translations that have been undertaken worldwide. What are the strategies and challenges involved in translating for the strip layout? Besides the discussion there will be some readings from the works. Geraint Jennings spent many years teaching Jerriais in schools. He now works for Jersey Heritage, promoting Jerriais and providing translations.
