The Acorn Café is an independently run establishment located at Acorn Enterprises in Trinity, Jersey. It provides a welcoming spot to enjoy a meal or drink after browsing the Reuse Centre, Woodshack, or plant nursery on site. The café offers a varied menu that includes big breakfasts, sandwiches, burgers, daily specials, sweet waffles, crepes, coffees, and milkshakes, catering for breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea.
Acorn Enterprises itself is Jersey's largest social enterprise, dedicated to providing work and training opportunities for people with disabilities or long-term health conditions. All trading income generated at Acorn, including from the café, is reinvested to further support its clients. The enterprise is run by the Jersey Employment Trust and is a registered charity. In addition to the café, Acorn Enterprises features a large Reuse store selling a wide variety of items, a plant nursery, and the Woodshack, which reuses waste timber.
