Details

The Royal Jersey Golf Club has been a part of island life for over 140 years, situated on 74 acres of Crown-owned land. The club boasts a rich history, notably linked to Grouville native Harry Vardon, who secured the first of his six Open Championship victories in 1896, a record that remains unbeaten. The 18-hole course measures 6,177 yards from the championship tees, with par set at 70 for the white and yellow tees, and 71 for the red tees, featuring five par-3 holes. It presents a challenge to golfers of all skill levels, particularly when the sea breeze is a factor.

Situated on the picturesque coastline of Grouville, the Royal Jersey Golf Club offers a stunning setting where heritage meets breathtaking scenery. The iconic 18-hole links course, with its history dating back to 1878, provides a memorable and challenging golfing experience. The clubhouse and its terrace provide views overlooking the 17th and 18th greens, Mont Orgueil Castle, and the distant French coastline. Visiting golfers, groups, and Golf Societies are welcomed at the club seven days a week, though adherence to a strict dress code is required.
