Portelet Bay Café is a family-run café situated directly on the beach at Portelet Bay in Jersey, Channel Islands, nestled between the Noirmont and Portelet Common conservation areas. The café offers a genuine beach experience and is known for its authentic wood-fired pizzas, as well as seasonal fresh shellfish during high season and salads, always prioritizing locally sourced produce whenever available.
Access to the café is part of its unique charm, as it can only be reached by boat or by descending approximately 100 steps to the beach, ensuring a location far from traffic and roads. Originally a derelict building, it was transformed by Ali and Piers Ostroumoff into the popular eatery it is today. The café provides both indoor and outdoor seating with exceptional views over the bay and also offers breakfast items like homemade granola and Jersey Yogurt.
