Situated in a beautiful coastal setting, Le Hocq Inn is the most southerly pub in the British Isles. It features a traditional pub area and a recently transformed restaurant, offering a welcoming interior and a delicious menu suitable for the whole family. Guests can enjoy a variety of pub classics, homemade flatbread pizzas, mussels, and Sunday roasts, complemented by a selection of award-winning locally brewed beers.
The name Le Hocq originates from the Jèrrias word for a headland or cape. The inn has an illustrious history, once being part of 'Arthur's New Pontac Hotel' when Jersey had its own railways. The nearby Le Hocq Tower, built around 1708, served as a coastal defence against French invasions and is now a landmark for sailing vessels. The pub is located a short distance from the sea, near St. Clement's Parish Hall and Le Rocquier school.
