Top notch service, posh British feel. Live music, multiple food options. Rooms are comfortable. Lots of wood paneling on the walls. Has a 'come dressed to impress' vibe, but people are friendly and approachable. Shout out to the doormen. Very helpful. Underground station nextdoor. Located in the financial district so not much open after hours or on the weekends.

The Ned is the gold standard of what every 5 star hotel should strive for. The service? Impeccable and they went above and beyond to help me. Especially Omar and the blond lady (I forgot her name, my apologies)! I wish more hotels had efficient and genuinely caring managers like them. The hotel industry worldwide would be much better off. The location? Unbeatable. You're a hop and skip away from St. Paul's Cathedral, the Underground, the bridges, and the Borough Market. Other sites within walking distance are: London bridge, Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square, and Big Ben. It's super easy too! Just follow the Thames. Food? Yes! Both within and without there are numerous options to choose from. My only issue was how loud the doors could be. They are pretty loud, but if someone decides they want to slam them it's REALLY loud. It's fine if it's the daytime and/or a very heavy sleeper, but if you're sensitive to sounds like me and have a neighbor who decides they want to slam their doors at 2 am then I recommend one of the more expensive options or a room by the stairwells. It's worth it.

WOW, JUST WOW. What a beautiful hotel and restaurant. Received 5 star treatment by all staff and waiters. Enjoyed a lovely meal and. 2 night stay! Would highly recommend dining and staying over at The Ned! You will feel the treatment of a long or queen!

Just not functional. Wouldn’t stay here again and it seems like no one who has worked for the hotel could have stayed in a room at any point.
Lukewarm showers, doors banging closed up and down the hallway (it is impossible to close them quietly), no outlets in the bathroom, no place to hang dresses, no refills on coffee, no place to hang a towel while you shower, a safe that could just be popped into a purse or briefcase and taken. The blinds don’t completely cover the window and take ages to manually roll down every day. Turndown service includes turning on all the lights in the room (for you to have the job to turn off), but not to painstakingly lower the blinds or leave chocolates. The special member bars (the Vault) are completely empty. There was a lot of staff but they wouldn’t bring dessert nor would room service bring anything to the bar. I know this sounds entitled, but the hotel brags about have 280 entrees available on site — but you have to physically go to one of the 9 restaurants and hope there’s a complete menu there. Room service is quick.
The perks are a very happening lobby, heated tile floors in the bathroom to help take the chill off after your cold shower and lots of manly amenities like a full bar and free condoms in the room. The pool is wonderful too.
