The Jersey Aero Club (JAC), formed in 1951, is one of the most established and well-regarded flying clubs in the British Isles. It offers a comprehensive range of services and facilities for private pilots visiting Jersey, those looking to hire light aircraft, and individuals wishing to undertake flight training. The club has a modern clubhouse located at the end of Jersey Airport's runway, featuring flying operations for students and members, general aviation facilities for visiting private pilots, a pilot shop, and the Hangar Bar and Bistro upstairs with a balcony overlooking the runway.

Learning to fly in Jersey with the Aero Club provides a unique experience due to its location and the blend of professional training within busy airspace, supported by helpful Air Traffic Controllers. The club is proud of the many local and visiting students who have trained with them, many of whom have gone on to rewarding careers in aviation or continue to enjoy flying as a private pilot. Beyond initial pilot training, the Jersey Aero Club also offers further training options and organizes various flying events and competitions throughout the year. The club also serves as the main entry point for light private aircraft arriving on the island and provides facilities for general aviation handling, including parking and fuel.
