Sandy Toes Sauna offers a Finnish-inspired, wood-burning mobile sauna experience in Jersey, Channel Islands. Founded by Blair Talibard and his partner Alex Harris, the sauna provides both private and communal sessions, complemented by cold plunge, shower, and toilet facilities. The concept is to combine the soothing heat of the sauna with the invigorating benefits of a dip in the sea, a practice known for reducing pain, improving circulation, and elevating mood.
The mobile nature of Sandy Toes Sauna means its location can vary, popping up in different coastal areas around Jersey, such as West Park with views of Elizabeth Castle, Greve de Lecq, and near the Somerville Hotel. They aim to provide a unique wellness experience, allowing guests to relax and enjoy the health benefits of sauna and cold-water therapy while taking in picturesque island views. Sessions are typically 50 minutes long, and bookings can be made for communal or private use.

I’m giving one star because while we were enjoying our relaxation time in the sauna this morning a worker entered without warning, completely silently and started adding logs to the burner. No “hello” or “is it ok if I add some more logs” or just waiting another 15 minutes until our session had ended. It was pretty insane.
We were visiting Jersey from London where we sauna 2/3 times per week, and thought this was completely unacceptable. I can’t see any other reviews mentioning this so maybe it was a one off? Left such a bad taste
