E.J. Gallichan is Jersey's oldest jewellers, occupying a prominent position beside the Royal Square in St. Helier. The historic building, a notable landmark with its distinctive brass-edged shop front and wall-mounted clock, has been home to the business for over 168 years, having first opened as a watchmakers and jewellers in 1845. Despite the passage of time and an expanded range of stock, the shop retains its old-world charm and commitment to friendly, personal service.

Today, Gallichan Jewellers offers a fabulous selection of jewellery, including the latest design wedding bands, engagement and eternity rings, and beautiful pearl jewellery from around the world. They stock watch brands such as Maurice Lacroix and Jean Pierre, and have also introduced Victorinox Swiss Army to their collection. In addition to new and antique pocket watches, they provide services such as engraving, jewellery and watch repairs, silver repairs and restoration, and a trophy service that includes supply, engraving, and restoration.

Really good. They helped me get my mother's wedding ring reduced to the right size, even though she could not travel in to see them.

I can't recommend EJ Gallichan Jewellers enough, both for the quality of their items and their exceptional customer service. They helped me source and engrave a beautiful pair of cufflinks for a family member at the last minute. Patricia and her colleagues truly went above and beyond to help me and it has been an absolute pleasure dealing with them! :)

Excellent business. Sourced and engraved 5 St Christopher pendants and chains for a groomsmen gift for my wedding day. Also polished my Wifes engagement ring and it came up good as new. All work completed before they said it would be done as well. Friendly service, will not hesitate to come back.

This place is part of Jersey's history. It is located on the corner of The Royal Square and as such holds a prime position within this shopping district. They have a wide range of quality items. My Father purchased my Mother’s engagement ring here and it still looks great to this day.
