Les Quennevais Sports Centre, opened in 1996 in St Brelade, Jersey, offers a wide array of sports facilities for both members and casual users, as well as sports clubs and associations. The centre features a well-equipped gym with fixed and free weights, cardio machines, two swimming pools (a 25m, eight-lane pool and a learner pool), fitness studios for classes like spin, squash courts, a multi-purpose sports hall, outdoor facilities, and a skatepark. It is also home to the Active Swim School, providing swimming lessons for all ages, and hosts local swimming club events.
Accessibility is a key feature at Les Quennevais, with facilities including accessible parking bays, a low-level reception desk, a lift to the upper level, changing facilities with a full ceiling track hoist, Poolpod access to the main pool, and sloped access to the learner pool. The centre is autism-friendly and assistance dog friendly, and also provides evacuation chairs, a hearing loop, and a Ski Pad. It's important to note that the centre is undergoing renovation work, with some facilities, including the pool and certain changing rooms, scheduled for closure from July 15th until September 2nd, 2024, though these dates may be subject to change.

The groundskeeping staff do an amazing job here and it's a lovely place to just cycle, run, or walk some laps safely on a well maintained surface.
Parking on site (remember your yellow disc or you'll risk a fine, but it's free and takes 30 seconds to set your disc on the dashboard), easy walking access to the local estates and shopping areas a five minute walk away.
The only "complaint" is the lack of toilets on site. There are toilets in the sports centre, but you sometimes get a bit of a dirty look using those loos if you're not a paying customer. Not the end of the world though, as there are toilets 200m down the railway walk at the elephant park and also about 400m away at Red Houses.
Overall, a lovely place to visit, relax, or play sports at any level - the facilities are more than adequate for even serious sports players.
