The JSPCA Animals' Shelter is the oldest and largest animal shelter in Jersey, dedicated to preventing cruelty to animals, promoting their care and protection, and providing for lost, aged, sick, and unwanted animals in Jersey. Founded in 1868, with the shelter itself established in 1913, the JSPCA offers a range of services including a 24-hour animal ambulance, rescue and rehabilitation for wildlife and domestic animals, rehoming services, and a lost and found service.
The shelter is a beacon of hope for animals in distress, housing a diverse range of species and offering educational programs and events to raise awareness about responsible pet ownership and the importance of adoption. They rely on community support through donations, volunteering, and fostering to continue their mission of ensuring every animal receives the care and loving home they deserve. The JSPCA also provides cat boarding services and operates a pet crematorium and cemetery.
