La Croix de la Reine is a monument located at Charing Cross in St. Helier, Jersey. It was created in 1977 by Cyril Warren and Louis Chataignere to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. The structure takes the form of an abstracted four-armed granite cross, intricately carved with views and symbols representing the history and landmarks of St. Helier.
The panels on the cross depict various aspects of St. Helier, including the town church, maritime commerce, the 18th-century prison, Elizabeth Castle, and the Hermitage. The monument was unveiled in 1978, and Queen Elizabeth II herself viewed it during her visit to Jersey in June of that year. It stands as a significant cultural and historical marker in the heart of St. Helier.

The room was perfect with tea/coffee making facilities a hair dryer, luxury linens, a comfy bed and good shower. The breakfast had a very good selection of full English, scrambled egg, cereals, juices, yoghurt, and fruit. Plus tea coffee toast and preserves.
Richard & Carolyn were the perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Richard even texted to offer us our room again for the night as our flight was cancelled.
We would highly recommend La Croix Guest House.
