Details

Coronation Park, also known as Millbrook Park, is a popular public park located in Bel Royal, St Lawrence, Jersey. It features two large playgrounds, one designed for children under five and another for older children, equipped with traditional apparatus like swings and slides, as well as a large climbing frame. During the summer months, a water play area and an outdoor paddling pool are open for children to enjoy.

The park offers a large grassy area ideal for picnics, although ball games are not permitted. Facilities include a café, toilets with disabled and baby-changing amenities, and wheelchair-friendly paths. Dogs are allowed but must be kept on leads at all times, and bicycles must be walked through the park, not ridden. The park was gifted to the Island in 1937 by Lady Florence Trent to celebrate the coronation of George VI, intended as a resting place for older people and a recreation space for the young.

It's in the process of a revamp with a water fountain area with the largest bucket of water tipping over. The garden plants are in full bloom.

Coronation Park is a great place for all ages and different families.

The park has four different areas: one for toddlers up to 6 years old, another for slightly older children, a water park that was renovated last year (though it occasionally has issues with the water, it's usually on during warm days), and a green area for picnicking or nice walks.

There is plenty of parking space available with yellow disk parking and on the avenue, where you need to display a parking ticket from April to October (Sundays are free of charge).

The park has one cafe that serves homemade pizza, hot dogs, various snacks, drinks, and ice cream. Not far from the park, there's a petrol station, a kiosk, a takeaway, and a Morrisons shop.

What a fantastic place for all ages!
The grounds are huge and very well maintained, and there is plenty of parking spaces available. Also very easy to reach from St Helier by bus, route 15 to airport.
The park has one cafe that serves homemade pizza, hot dogs, various snacks, drinks, and authentic Jersey ice cream, and prices are quite reasonable. Although it's worth enjoying a picnic if the weather is good.
Not far from the park, there's a petrol station, a kiosk, a takeaway, and a Morrisons shop.
I loved seeing families enjoying the water park!

Great place for kids to play in the water fountains! Also a cafe for hot or cold food. Parking can be tricky... So you need to get here early!
