Details

Anne Port Beach is a picturesque, east-facing shingle beach located in a relatively small and secluded bay on the north-east coast of Jersey, Channel Islands, between Gorey and St Catherine. At mid to low tide, fine sand is revealed along most of the beach, and its gentle slope makes for good, safe swimming at all states of the tide. The bay is known for being tranquil and is rarely crowded, partly due to limited parking. It enjoys the morning and midday sun and is very sheltered, especially from westerly winds.

Historically, the southern end of the bay is overlooked by a rock face known as Le Saut Geoffroi (Jeffrey's Leap), which legend suggests was a site for ancient executions. While facilities are limited, there are public toilets available. For refreshments, a short walk north towards the Martello Tower leads to a café in the adjacent Archirondel Bay. The beach is accessible via a cobbled slipway, which has a slightly steep decline.
