The Beresford Street Fish Market is an integral part of Jersey's heritage, serving the community for over 200 years alongside the Central Market. It's a lively place, full of colours and smells, offering a wide range of local produce, crafts, goods, and services. The current Fish Market building was rebuilt in 1972, though it retains its original entrances from 1841.
Located in the heart of St Helier, just across the road from the Central Market, the Fish Market features traditional fish stalls alongside various eateries and other goods. It provides a unique shopping experience with specialist independent traders offering fresh seafood, as well as other food, drink, and gifts. The market aims to be a vibrant hub for both locals and visitors, showcasing Jersey's produce and fostering a sense of community.
