Judith Queree's Garden, located in St Ouen, Jersey, is a celebrated organic garden spanning just over a quarter of an acre. It showcases a diverse collection of over 2,000 rare and unusual plants, primarily herbaceous perennials sourced from around the world, all cultivated following organic principles. The garden is thoughtfully designed with different zones to accommodate various growing conditions, from dry and arid areas to a significant bog garden.
The bog garden is a highlight, featuring over 80 varieties of water-loving Irises, alongside other damp-loving plants such as Primulas, Lobelias, and Trollius. In contrast, other sections of the garden provide the drier conditions preferred by plants like Geraniums and a large collection of sun-loving Salvias, including many tender species from Central America. Additionally, with over 200 varieties and species, a Clematis can be found in bloom somewhere in the garden every day of the year. The garden also incorporates a notable collection of sculptures, enhancing its charm and visual interest.
