Details

Rozel Bay is a picturesque small fishing harbour on the north-east coast of Jersey, sheltered by a wooded hillside. When the tide is low, a small, soft, white sandy beach is revealed, leading to pebbles towards the sea. The bay is popular for sunbathing and offers safe swimming when the tide is up, though caution is advised due to its rocky nature. The pier provides facilities and protection for leisure craft and small fishing boats, and a quaint promenade of houses lines the quayside.

Rozel is known for its selection of eateries and tranquil atmosphere. It's a starting point for coastal walks along Jersey's north coast, with the Jersey Coastal Path passing through. While popular, limited parking helps manage the number of visitors to the cove. Nearby attractions include Rozel Manor, St Catherine's Woods, and Jersey Zoo. Visitors can enjoy fresh seafood at local restaurants and cafes.

This is a lovely village pub with friendly staff. However, I recently had Sunday lunch there and was very disappointed. The roast came with 4 tiny pieces of carrot - a quarter of a carrot if that, a few small pieces of parsnip, both of which seemed more like reheated boiled vegies than roasted. There was a huge dollop of mash, some roast potatoes, a tiny portion of broccoli, a Yorkshire pud and some rather tough beef. I had ordered a side of cauliflower cheese which arrived in a dish without a serving spoon that I had to ask for, and on tasting it there was barely any cheese. I appreciate that the pub is currently short staffed but that is no excuse for cutting corners on the quality of the food and the presentation. Had I been asked at any point how my meal was, I would have given this feedback in person. In summary, a fabulous local for a drink but I wouldn't eat there again.

We love to dine out and like to try different establishments on the island when we can. Lauren I would like to say a massive thank you to you and your team for accommodating our needs. You moved our table downstairs, reserved a parking space so my mam could dine with us. The food, Chef the food was stunning. We had the Thai mussels and Scallops these were absolutely stunning, from presentation to flavour. Main course trio of lamb, flavours were amazing lamb cooked to perfection melted in your mouth. Seabase with a prawn risotto, again presentation and flavour were amazing. The pear Dessert looked amazing and apparently tasted sensational. Again Lauren and Andy have put their own trade mark on another pub. Looking forward to coming back again with friends when the come over to visit. Keep up the amazing work Team Rozel

Lovely cosy pub with friendly staff. Fantastic Sunday lunch at the Rozel Bay Pub. The new head chef is absolutely brilliant with the dishes he creates. Ended up with three courses. The diet can start tomorrow. Dog friendly too which is a bonus.

Food was excellent. The staff were very friendly and entertaining without being intrusive. The restaurant and pub both have a lovely atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!
