Details

Beauport Beach is a picturesque and secluded cove located on the southwest coast of Jersey, Channel Islands, often described as a hidden gem. It is renowned for its natural beauty, featuring soft golden sand, crystal-clear waters, and a backdrop of weather-sculpted cliffs covered in gorse and pine trees. The beach is a popular spot for locals and visitors seeking tranquility, swimming, snorkelling, and sunbathing in a sheltered environment.

Access to Beauport Beach is via a steep footpath and steps from the clifftop car park, making it less suitable for those with mobility issues but contributing to its uncrowded and unspoiled nature. While the beach itself has no facilities, public toilets are available in the car park. Its south-facing aspect makes it a sun trap, particularly in the morning and early afternoon. The water quality is rated as excellent, and at low tide, rock pools are revealed at the edges of the bay.
