The Pallot Steam, Motor & General Museum is a mechanical heritage museum located in Trinity, Jersey. It was established by the late Lyndon 'Don' Pallot with the aim of preserving the island's mechanical, agricultural, and transport heritage. The museum showcases a vast and varied collection including steam locomotives and engines, vintage, commercial, military, and classic vehicles, bicycles, toys, tractors, agricultural machinery, nostalgic photographs, and a variety of organs, such as a pipe church organ and a Compton theatre organ.
Visitors can step back in time and explore numerous items of memorabilia. The L C Pallot Trust, established in 1985, continues to manage the museum according to Don Pallot's original vision, with his surviving children serving as trustees. Originally opened in 1990 in older adjacent buildings, the museum later expanded with the construction of an Engine Shed and Victorian Style Station Platform, officially opened in 1996. A large extension to the Engine Shed was completed in 2002, providing a brighter and more spacious location for the exhibits. The museum aims to offer something of interest to everyone in its fascinating collection.
