One of the most beautiful parks I've been to, gorgeous roses and wisteria. Well kept war graves felt really respectful. Flowers and plants I'd never seen elsewhere. Beautiful, well looked after and with everything you need (playground, toilets, cafe, green spaces, kids activities, little things of interest around every corner).

What an unexpected nice surprise! I found his place accidentally on the way to somewhere else.

For some reason, this park wasn't mentioned in any of my research as a tourist, maybe because it's a municipal park with free public access and doesn't qualify as an attraction. But, please don't let that put you off.

It's a stone's throw from St Helier town centre and is a breath of fresh, tranquil air, both figuratively and literally. I visited the paid-entry botanical gardens nearby, but I think I better enjoyed Howard Davis' Park. It was probably because it was unexpected, but also because it is very well kept and, for a free-to-the-public park, was well groomed and laid out.

Walk around the perimeter and enjoy views across the main green from different angles. Then, dive into other areas, such as a walled garden with a water feature, pond, and war graves overseen by St Luke's Church. You'll be reaching for your camera, so make sure you clean that carrot cake off the lens before snapping away.

It has to be a solid 5 stars because its value for money (free) can't be beaten, and I spent well over an hour there, so I must have enjoyed it.

Beautiful garden park with a stage that hosts many live musical events in the summer, including outside cinema screening of films and special events ie, the Coronation, , Olympics, Opera, Drama etc. It also has a a Cafe/Restaurant with alfresco eating in a walled garden and the Howard Davis Pavilion where you can get close to the history of the Park and that of Howard Davis and the species of plants in the park.It houses St Lukes Church and a special small cemetery in honor of those who have fought for freedom. For the last few hears it has made a spectacular walk through display by adorning its beautiful trees and water displays with different colored lights, its truly beautiful.

A lovely park come gardens on the edge of St Helier. Well kept clean and a pleasant walk either around or just through. The main gate takes one directly into the town centre.
