St. Brelade's Bay is one of Jersey's most popular beaches, renowned for its beautiful golden sand, safe swimming conditions, and south-facing aspect that provides long hours of sunshine. The beach is backed by a promenade with shops and eateries, and at its western end lies St. Brelade's Parish Church and the historic Fisherman's Chapel.
The bay provides a wide expanse of clean sand that gently slopes into turquoise waters. During the summer months, it's a bustling hub for sunbathing, sandcastle building, and various water activities like kayaking and banana boat rides. Rockpools can be explored at either end of the beach during low tide. The area is well-equipped with facilities including public toilets, showers, and options to rent beach chairs and equipment. It has also been recognized with awards for its cleanliness and appeal, including being voted among the top UK beaches by TripAdvisor users.
