Escape Rooms at Jersey War Tunnels

Family of 4 went there a couple of days ago and absolutely loved trying the escape room and being set within the underground tunnels made it feel so much more exciting. The guide was really good and yes we failed to escape lol. Would highly recommend to everyone.

Only our second ever escape room so some of the puzzles were tricky. We made it out in the end once we were given the correct clue rather than one for a challenge we'd already completed. Great story setting of having to break into the Commandant's office to get intel. Good props too. Just needed a little bit more detail or clues for 2 adults and 2 children. Overall it was good and enjoyable.

We wouldn't normally leave a 1 star review for an escape room venue but our experience here, on our holiday, was frankly appalling.

The games master we had literally showed zero enthusiasm or interest in setting the scene/telling the story. We have done over 100 rooms and never had such a bad experience as we had here.

We paid to do both rooms, and we escaped both, but the puzzles and clues in places made zero sense to even the most abstract of thinking. The games master had to be asked repeatedly for clues in the prison break room and it was obvious he hadn't been watching our progress as tried to give us a clue to a puzzle we'd solved ages prior. We could also hear through the wall that he was clearly having a conversation with someone. Totally not ok if you're going to be a GM for a room.

Move on to the second room and our instructional video was in fact the ending completion of the room video, the GM played this to us twice for good measure before realising he had shown us the wrong one.

Totally not worth the money and would actively discourage expert escape roomers to avoid. Rooms have so much potential and themselves are lovely, but games master totally ruined it.

Brilliant escape room. High quality, great theming and so much fun. Could not recommend this enough. I have completed quite a few escape rooms and this was one of the best.

Great experience. This was one of the most moving stories and museum I have ever visited. So interesting and atmospheric. You could only imagine what life down there must have been like but it was well displayed and I explained. Lots of seats along the way as well for less able people like me.
