Le Couperon Dolmen is a significant Neolithic gallery grave located on Jersey's north-east coast, within the parish of Saint Martin. This ancient monument, constructed around 5,000 years ago, offers visitors a uniquely tranquil and mysterious atmosphere, inviting contemplation of the island's deep prehistoric past. The dolmen stands just metres from the 17th-century Le Couperon guardhouse, providing striking views across the coastline. Finds unearthed during its excavation included flint flakes and pottery fragments, hinting at its ancient use.
